Mid-Shore wreck trip report

NEW OFFSHORE WRECK TRIPS SCHEDULED FOR February 24, and 25th. Also, March 2 and 3rd.

Fishing was slow again in our last mid range Wreck trip. We caught several Pollock, some ling, and a couple of cod.

The Pool Winner was: Jack Burke had the pool winning Pollock, which made about 7 pounds.

We are going to head further offshore on our remaining trips and fishing Wrecks, 25 to 55 miles offshore for cod, Pollock, and ling. The trips will sail at 4 AM returning approximately 6 PM to give us some more time for the additional travel distance.

The fare is a little bit higher just to defer some of the additional fuel cost. If you were already booked prior to the fare change, you still have your reservation and the sailing time, and boarding time remain the same. Just the return time will be an hour later.

STRIPED BASS SATURDAY APRIL 6th & Sunday 4/7 - LV 6:30AM

The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail for Striped Bass leaving 6:30AM Saturday & Sunday morning. There is plenty of space available.

You can either purchase tickets online or pay cash at the Boat.

Saturday Report 3/30

We had some decent action on our Striped Bass trip this past Saturday.

We read plenty of bass in the morning, but could not get them to bite. They finally turned on later in the morning. We put a number of keepers in the boat, and also released others.

The Pool winner was:

Al Ka from Philadelphia PA with a 31” Striper.

Chartreuse shad produced most of the fish caught on Saturday.

We did have a couple of bites on crocs and flutter spoons.

It looks like a pretty rainy week. We are going to wait until Saturday & Sunday to make our next trips sailing at 6:30 AM

TILEFISH TRIP

We have a Tile Fish trip scheduled to sail at 10 PM Saturday, April 13. There is space available on that trip.
