Our experienced professional crew will demonstrate how to fish and they are available to assist you throughout the entire fishing trip

Reservations are recommended but not necessary for all trips. Walk-ons are welcome however, Paid reservations board first at the initial boarding time. If you are planning on a Special offshore trip, or other special trip they may be sold out in advance.

No, the Jamaica is cash only aboard. All tips, tackle, and galley purchases must be paid in cash.

Boarding begins one hour to 1.5 hours ahead of departure. There are plenty of free parking spots available at our boat dock parking lot.

Yes, if you have enjoyed your trip. The crew is professional and attends to your needs. Please tip the crew based on how helpful you feel they were, not based on how many fish you catch. The crew relies on your generosity; it is similar to waitresses or bartenders.

Yes, fish cleaning services are available, the crew will clean, filet and bag your fish for a nominal fee.

Are there rest rooms on board? Yes, we have a women’s and men’s bathroom on board.

  • One stand-up style tuna rod with a Penn 6/0 or 2-Speed 30 or 50 conventional reel equipped with 60 - 80lb test monofilament.
  • One 7-foot tuna jigging rod with Penn 4/0 or equivalent reel equipped with 60lb monofilament test monofilament or 65 - 85 lb test braided line.

  • One light to medium spinning rod equipped with 30 - 40 lb test monofilament or 30 - 50 lb braided line.
  • 1/0 to 4/0 hooks
  • Assorted small lures and jigs.

  • 6.5’ to 8’ heavy duty rod with a single or two speed conventional reel equipped with approximately 400 yards of 50 - 80 lb test braided line. We strongly suggest using braided line since we will be fishing in very deep water of up to 1000’.

Cooler | Ice | Snacks & Meals | Protection from the Weather | Rod, Reel, Tackle

Cooler: We recommend bringing a cooler (up to 100qt) for your catch and a smaller cooler for your personal snacks, meals and beverages if needed.

Ice: Available to purchase at the dock or tackle shop.

Snacks and Meals: Limited hot and cold snacks are available for purchase. Guests may use our

microwave to heat up their food.

Protection from the Weather: seasonally appropriate clothing | foul weather gear (if needed)

Your Rods, Reels, Tackle: If you do not have your own, rental rod + reel combos with an initial rig are available on board for rent. Additional tackle is available for purchase.
